🌺 Meet Me — Thilini Nipunika Hettiarachchi

Hey there!

I’m Thilini Nipunika Hettiarachchi from Sri Lanka. I am a simple girl who loves traveling, finding hidden places of the country, capturing special moments and creating stories by them to remember the moments. 🌿

I believe that every journey of our lives, whether it is small or big, has great lesson to teach us.

Through this blog, I hope to share my experiences, the places I visit, the memories I make and the joy of every small corner of my country with my blog family.🌿✨

🌿 Where My Story Begins

Everything of my life

I grew up surrounded by the best kind of love, the love of my family.
Actually, my mother was a brave prison officer who taught me that strength and kindness can live in a same heart. My father is a very smart and dedicated businessman who showed me that the dreams need patience and hard work to become true. I have a pretty and lovely sister who is already graduated. She plays different roles of my life. Also, she thinks my success every day. My little brother is still studying. He is the bright and the Light at our home. According to my mother, he was being the son of my mother because of her luck, he is the lucky son.
To me, my family is the greatest gift I ever had in my life.

🎓 My Learning Journey

As a member of school western band

Since I was young, I always loved learning, especially in Mathematics. I didn't too much stress on studies because I could balance everything better. So, I successfully passed my G.C.E. O/L and A/L examinations.

After finishing A/Ls I started my degree BEng (Hons) in civil engineering. With the degree program I am following a Higher National Diploma in English at SLIATE-Dehiwala.

Actually, since my childhood, I was interested in English language. So, I am also doing my MA in English at Sabaragamuwa university of Sri Lanka. And I must say I am an apprentice pharmacist at Sri Lanka Medical Council. I know that studying medicine, engineering and English is unusual, but I believe that definitely it will be benefited for my future plans.

💞 The Love I Prayed For

Safe & Happy place of me

When I think about love, I always thought for a life partner who is able to understand me, care for me deeply, be loyal and stand by me every situation. I feel so thankful to universe, I found my dream love, and even more than that. He is the one I prayed for.

As I see him, he is very kindhearted person, helping everyone and feeling sorry for the individuals at right time. And no matter what happened, he always there for me in every situation. He is my encouragement to continue on my journey, not letting me give up on my dreams, but giving me strength in every difficult moment.

Having him by me makes my life happy and smart. I feel lucky to have a partner who truly knows me and cares for me

🎉 My Dreams Are Blooming

I am a day dreamer and a doer!

I have planned to start my own academy which can guide student and share knowledge to make them for better future. Currently, I am conducting tuition classes on Mathematics which help students to build their confidence in numbers.
Out of teaching, I am also planning an event planning program by focusing special events and foreigners, because I believe that I have creative and organizing skills to make wonder the moments for others while doing works to open my own pharmacy. I am still dreaming while working to dreams come true for happy and meaningful life.

🌟 How She Supports Me

It is blessing to have a friend like her in my life. She is not just a roommate; she is always there for me and understands me deeply. Whether I am happy or stressed, she offers kind and patient advises and support me to recover.
We spend many hours together, with studying, laughing, gossiping, talking about our dreams. Her kindness makes me feel safe and comfort like having second home there. I believe that having her by me makes my life easier and joy.

🌸 When I’m Just Me

Even with my all works, studies, dreams and future plans, at my heart I am so simple girl who is able to find happiness even in the small things. I love listening to songs, sharing laughter with my sister, sharing stories and my experiences with my family. My happy place is my home, it means my family. It brings me joy. It fills my heart and feels me that the life is most beautiful thing of the universe.

🌈 A Note to You

You have stepped into my world. So, Thank You so much. I believe, no matter how you came, you leave here with a smile on your face and a push to make your dreams come true. Believe in yourself, work towards your dreams, and the universe will open the doors to success beyond your imagination.

"Discover the Majestic Beauty of Adam's Peak"

Exploring about amazing natural beauty of Adam's Peak, also known as Sri Pada, is a culturally and religiously significant sacred peak in Sri Lanka.

So, welcome to my blog!!

The peak is  2,243 meters (7,359ft) high. It's not only a place full of scenic and natural beauty but also a destination for all religious devotees. According to legend, Adam, the first man of the Abrahamic religions, landed on this mountain of earth after his expulsion from Paradise.

The "sacred footpath" on the top of Adam's hill is quite unique. People of different religions see things differently. Buddhists believe it belongs to Buddha, Hindus to Lord Shiva and Muslims and Christians to Adam. This footprint shows harmony between different religions.

To reach the top, travellers must endure a difficult yet rewarding trek. The optimum time to visit is during the pilgrimage season, which runs from December to April. Trekking usually starts early in the morning. Climbers have to climb about 5,200 steps to reach the summit. When the sun rises, beautiful colors appear in the sky.

The view from the top of the mountain is amazing. On a clear day, you can see lush landscapes, misty valleys and distant beaches. It's an incredible experience that leaves people feeling both astounded and peaceful.

Aside from the natural beauty, the climb to Adam's Peak summit is also about community and spirituality. Along the way, you'll meet other hikers. They share stories and provide each other support. The atmosphere is lively, with prayers and hymns.

When you reach the top, take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You can pray, meditate or simply explore the spiritual value of this unique region. Remember to take a wonderful photo to keep forever.

You will remember the beautiful views and feel great on your way back down. Climbing Adam's Peak is an entire experience, not just the summit.

Nine-Arch Bridge in Ella: Everything You Need to Know

The Demodara Nine Arch Bridge on Ella Mountain is a prominent feature. After a 30 minutes trip through the forest, you'll find this architecturally magnificent bridge set among tea plantains. Walk across the bridge, which is a must do activity in Sri Lanka.

Stone Bridge Ella

P.K.Appuhami built this ancredible nine-arched stone railway bridge that connects Ella and Demodara stations with the assistance of the British. The train ride from Kandy to Ella, which goes through the highlands, is regarded as one of the world's most scenic train rides. Visitors can explore the bridge on their own or as part of day tours that include several stops.

How to get to the Nine Arch Bridge

There are several methods for getting to the train bridge. One option is to take the route to Little Adam's Hill and then turn left at Little Varna Vihara. Use Google Maps to find Lake Front Cottage and take a safe trek through the jungle. When you see the parking lot beyond the Art Cafe canopy, turn left into the jungle. Walk for around 10 minutes and you'll have a nice view of the bridge. This path is recommended.

To ensure your safety, avoid walking alone in the dark. Join a hiking group or go on a day trip for increased security.

If you want to get there quickly, walk along the road from Ella to a tunnel. After passing through the tunnel, you will instantly arrive at the new arch bridge. The most convenient method to get to Nine Arch Bridge is to take a LKR 300 (USD 2) tuk-tuk ride from the fall.1

Best Time to Visit the Nine Arch Bridge

The greatest time to visit the bridge is at sunrise. The lighting is stunning, and there are fewer people present. By 10 a.m., the day excursion groups begin, and it becomes quite congested with people.

Planning your visit wisely can improve your experience.
