How to get to the Nine Arch Bridge

To get to the train bridge, you have a few options. One way is to follow the road to Little Adam's Hill, then turn left at Little Varna Vihara. Use Lake Front Cottage on Google Maps for a safe walk through the jungle. When you spot the parking area after the Art Cafe umbrella, turn left into the jungle. Walk for about 10 minutes, and you'll have a great view of the bridge. This route is recommended.

For safety, it's best to avoid walking alone in the dark. Join a group of hikers or take a day trip for added security.

If you're looking for the quickest way, walk from Ella town along the road until you reach a tunnel. Once you pass through the tunnel, you'll arrive at the new arch bridge immediately. The easiest way to reach Nine Arch Bridge is by taking a LKR 300 (USD 2) tuk-tuk ride from the fall.

The best time to go to the bridge is at sunrise. The lighting is beautiful, and there are fewer people around. By 10 am, the day trip tours begin, so it gets quite crowded with tourists.
